The Neighbourhood

“Kemptown has a lively, generous hub of independent shops, delis, vintage stores, indie and second-hand bookshops, restaurants, cafes…"

Take in the unique charm from the off-the-beaten-path shops on St George's Rd before you meander towards town... past our favourite Fleamarket, gorgeous flower shops and grooming parlours (human & doggy) to bustling St James’s Street which leads you straight to the Royal Brighton Pavilion and the mooching mecca that is Brighton city centre.

Our end of the beach has plenty of fun for the family: crazy golf, a children’s play area, and steamy Hot Box Saunas and ice baths with a sea view! Walk ten minutes West on the promenade, alongside the historical Volks Railway and you’ll smell the fresh donuts before you see them on Brighton Pier. Keep walking East along the new boardwalk towards the Marina and you will find the famous Undercliff trail which you can follow on wheels or by foot, enjoying stunning views all the way to Rottingdean.
